Thus, turnovers (CA) between 5 and 10 million euros will apply a tax of 0.5%, 0.6% for CA between 10 and 20 million, 0.7% for earnings between 20 and 30 million. The tax of 0.9% will apply to CA over 30 million.
Jean Dionis of stay, MP (New Center) at the origin of the amendment, this amendment seeks to "take account of competition in the sector" without "calling into question the purpose and the tax". It's "allow the emergence and rise of smaller players."
Operators majority, remember, has already overtaxed. Recently interviewed by Le Figaro, Franck Esser, CEO of SFR, repeated that operators will have no choice but to pass the new tax on consumers.
The amendment also operators' virtual 'or MVNO. A new taxation altogether prevent the entry of new operators in the sector and limit the off MVNO already in great difficulty.
The amended bill will however return to all members on 25 November.
Recall that the bill funding public broadcasting is to remove the advertising of public channels by 2012.
The idea that private broadcasters, telecom operators and Internet access providers, should compensate for the loss estimated at 450 million euros is at the heart of the device.
