Search engine: Microsoft debauchery an expert from Yahoo

Rejected any idea of acquisition of Yahoo, Steve Ballmer had left the door open for a partnership around the search portal.

But for now, Microsoft debauchery its experts. The firm Steve Ballmer confirms a rumor circulated that it has hired Sean sucht, who was in 2003 at the head of the Yahoo dedicated to research technologies, specifically responsible for engineering and product management search algorithms.

Sean Sucht arrived at Yahoo with the acquisition of the Inktomi, where he led the engineering team, chosen by the portal to enhance face to Google.

"Sean Sucht joined Microsoft as a responsible leader of our Search Technology Center, based in Silicon Valley, and working on Live Search," said Satya Nadel, the head of research at Microsoft.

The portal is in full storm, and is seeking a new boss, Jerry Yang announced his departure.
